How FOMO
Came to Be.

Two Lagos engineers, a shared frustration, and a blank warehouse on Admiralty Way. What started as a joke in a WhatsApp group became one of the most talked-about cultural spaces in West Africa.

2021

The Idea

A WhatsApp group of Lagos tech builders frustrated by nightlife that felt disconnected from who they were. Brilliant people who built the future by day — with nowhere that reflected that energy at night.

2021 — 2022

The Build

In 12 months, Demilade and Chisom converted a warehouse on Admiralty Way into Lagos' first AI-powered nightclub. Custom generative art systems. Adaptive lighting rigs. A sound system designed with acoustic AI. Every surface in FOMO is alive.

March 2022

The Opening

Over 800 people showed up to a venue built for 400. The queue stretched to the main road. By morning, FOMO was Lagos' most talked-about night.

2025

The Movement

Three years later, 200+ events hosted, 5,000+ members, and a merch brand worn from Lagos to London. A reality show in development. This is just the beginning.

Our Values

Authenticity

FOMO is unapologetically Lagos. We don't import nightlife culture — we create our own. Every night, every drop, every decision is rooted in who we actually are.

Innovation

We believe the best nights of your life haven't happened yet. AI, generative art, adaptive audio — we build the technology that makes that possible.

Community

Founders, engineers, artists, students. FOMO exists because of the people who show up. Our community is our most valuable product.

Respect

Every guest, every staff member, every culture represented inside FOMO is treated with dignity. No exceptions. Zero tolerance. Full stop.

Lagos First

We exist to prove what Lagos can build. Every collab, every product drop, every hire — we back this city loudly and without apology.

Energy

We are not a quiet place. FOMO is alive, electric, and moving. If you want predictable, go somewhere else. If you want unforgettable, come here.
